Kabuki UK Family Day 2025

Photos from Kabuki UK Family Day 2025 at Hatton County World in Warwickshire.

On 21 June 2025, families from across the UK and further afield gathered at Hatton Adventure World in Warwickshire for Kabuki UK Family Day. It was one of the largest Kabuki syndrome gatherings globally, and a joyous day connecting with old friends and welcoming new faces.

The day opened with refreshments, welcome music from Imi Dickinson and introductory remarks from the trustees. Eleanor Lenkiewicz shared a moving poem before everyone headed to the marquee for a buffet lunch. Cold drinks were available throughout the day which became increasingly important as the temperature rose.

Entertainment continued into the afternoon. Zoobie from Hatton Farm brought plenty of laughter and energy to the marquee. Our Kabuki UK drama group, led by Jenny Anderson, performed Careful What You Wish For by Hannah Lowe. This was followed by a dance performance from Jacob Laviniere, which was warmly received by families and volunteers alike. The day ended with a group photo and goodbyes as everyone began their journeys home.

Kabuki UK Founder and Chairperson Sally Trewartha captured the spirit of the event perfectly: “What a fantastic day!! Thank you to everyone who came to Hatton today to celebrate the Kabuki UK Family Day. It was our biggest gathering ever. It was very hot and some of us were melting a little by the afternoon! It was wonderful to see so many new faces and reconnect with old friends. Hopefully new friendships were made 💚”

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to those who supported behind the scenes. The full photo gallery is available below.
