It was a day marked by camaraderie, spirited competition, and heartfelt support as people gathered at Datchet Golf Club for a very special cause. Organised by Josh, the proud father of Daisy who lives with Kabuki syndrome, his Golf Day Fundraiser was not just about playing a round—it was about making a difference.
The event saw a fantastic turnout with 40 attendees swinging their clubs and rallying together to raise a remarkable £4,400 for Kabuki UK. This astounding achievement will directly support initiatives and resources for those affected by Kabuki syndrome, including Kabuki UK’s Grant Programme, Family Day and Information Day.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Josh, who spearheaded this wonderful event, dedicating his time and effort to ensure its success. Special thanks are also due to Sam, Bradley, and John, whose organisational skills and commitment were instrumental in orchestrating such a successful day. Their hard work behind the scenes made everything run smoothly, from the first tee off to the last putt.
The success of the day was made possible by every participant who joined them on the green. Each swing, putt, and cheer not only contributed to the fun atmosphere but also to a very noble cause. It’s through events like these that our community strengthens and grows, bound together by mutual support and a shared commitment to improving the lives of those living with Kabuki syndrome.
We are immensely grateful to all the donors who contributed, whether they attended the event or supported from afar. Your generosity plays a vital role in our ongoing fight against Kabuki syndrome and in the lives of those affected by it.
